From 4 June until 30 November 2013, visitors to our Museum have the opportunity to see an entirely new exhibition dedicated to Princess Daisy of Pless, her family and friends. The focal point of the temporary exhibition ‘Jewels of Princess Daisy’ is the exquisite jewellery which once belonged to the aritocratic lady, currently on loan from the National Museum in Warsaw.
The collection comprises an amethyst set with diamonds and an aquamarine devant de corsage (pendant – brooch), most probably manufactured in France at the turn of the 19th and 20th century. The lavishness of the display is enhanced by works of art and souvenirs from the collection of the Castle Museum in Pszczyna and private collections, some of them are made available to the public for the first time.
